Commissions

Working with individuals and building relationships is a meaningful and satisfying part of my creative practice. I am rewarded when my art engages and resonates with viewers. There is no greater compliment than installing work in someone’s home or office where it is enjoyed every day.

WallFlower (Edina)

This site-specific installation was designed for a staircase in a private residence. Greeting the homeowners at morning and night, this work brings joy to their everyday. Movement and flow guided the placement of each component. Shifts in light create dramatic shadows on the wall, making this a perfect backdrop for the dynamic couple.

FOR THE FRILL OF IT (Minneapolis)

Movement and balance were important considerations in the design for a private residence in Minneapolis. The verticality of the wall and existing wood planks created a pleasing backdrop for these ruffled tiles. The work has a strong presence without dominating the room and welcomes friends and family to gather.
