For The Frill Of It

For the Frill of It is a large-scale ceramic installation inspired in part by the beauty of a ballerina's tutu and the utility of a clay roof tile. With this work, I question the definition of value, investment of time and effort, practicality, and ideas of luxury and excess. My hope is that this installation imparts warmth, softness, and strength.
