Covered in Coils is an introductory handbuilding workshop designed for families and friends. Sign up for the morning or afternoon session.

Explore rolled, extruded, and slab coils and the different results they produce. Then make a cup, pot, or vase using your favorite technique. You learn to move the clay inward and outward as you join one coil at a time. Paint your projects with colored slips. Ages 6+; all skill levels welcome.

Cut out a shape, add embellishments, and then decorate with ceramic paints. Each project is kiln baked to perfection and available for pick up at a later date. Information is provided about pick up during the activity.

Art Stat Exhibition: The Trophy Room

The Trophy Room is on view at M Health Mill Clinic Gallery located at 901 S 2nd Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The exhibition runs April 7 - September 7, 2023. The reception is Thursday, July 13 from 5:30-7:00 pm.

The public is welcome to visit and view the exhibition during regular clinic hours Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

The clinic believes patient care is an art, combining science and medicine to develop holistic care plans for each patient. It showcases local artwork and live music, with a modern, calming design.
